This page details the process of creating "Mission Possible" as an informative video to provide a visual understanding of common sense accessibility.

A project created for the Wyoming Institute For Disabilities (WIND) and the University of Wyoming, "Mission Possible" was created to offer visual descriptions of accessible lodging and dining in hotels and restaurants.  It is a resource for owners of restaurants and hotel operators.  As a Federally funded project, the final master DVD was distributed to these establishments throughout the United States.  The short movie was filmed in Laramie, Wyoming at the Hilton Garden Inn.

With a small production crew and a short timeline to create the video, the cast and hotel staff was very cooperative throughout the initial long day of filming.  Subsequent filming the following week and separate narration recording provided the necessary data to begin editing the project.

The story line and title of the instructional video was created by a staff of WIND personnel and DGW Video Productions along with other participants with various physical and visual impairments.

Approximately 6000 copies of the finished DVD were mass produced and distributed, primarily throughout the state of Wyoming, but also to other states in the country.

The DVD accompanied the latest handbook of accessible lodging and dining.
